The Right to Silent-Visual Interpretations of the Miranda Warning

This workshop will analyze
and review various examples of conceptually accurate interpretations of
the Miranda Warning. The training also considers textual density of the
Miranda Warning and ways to incorporate some of the complex concepts
into the interpretation. The workshop format includes video
analysis, lecture, group discussion/activities, group/team work. and
feedback process.
BEI and RID CEUs will be offered
This training is intended for interpreters who have a grasp of interpreting in a legal setting and have an understanding for legal terminology.
