Alma Bebee
Deafness Resource Specialist

Alma Bebee is the Deafness Resource Specialist at The Deaf and Hard of Hearing Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. This program provides advocacy services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing consumers of all ages needing equal communication access in thirteen counties. Mrs. Bebee is an experienced trainer and presenter to the community with topics related to Deafness including: Deaf and HOH Sensitivity Issues, ADA Law, Client Rights, Deaf Culture, Communication Issues and Resources. Mrs. Bebee was born Deaf and was raised in El Paso. She attended the Texas School for the Deaf. She has provided services to the Deaf for over 15 years with various Deaf community agencies. Mrs. Bebee works closely with DARS, DBS, ECI and various community service providers to fulfill her passion of breaking down barriers that affect Deaf and HOH consumers to ensure that they have full, equal access to communication and services.
