Calling all Voyagers ages 8-18! We have a fun summer planned with a variety
of activities you will enjoy! We will have trips, games, special guests, and
surprise visitors! If you would like to have a great summer with us, please
register now! We need to know you are coming to arrange for t-shirts and tickets
to all the fun. Have fun learning new things because all activities will be
accessible.

Legal Interpreting Study

This study group is
for interpreters certified by Texas BEI at CIC, Level II-IV, Advanced or
Master, or RID SL:C or CI/CT, or by special approval. The study methods
include speakers, lecture, group/peer discussion, handouts, and activities.
Topics include distinction between Court and/or Legal Interpreters,
Portfolio hands-on perpetration or updates, disclosure of personal
information, qualifying the interpreter as an expert, and interpreter voir
dire.

Katherine Murch
Congratulations to the new Miss Deaf
Texas 2007-2009! Katherine Murch, Miss Deaf Corpus Christi was
crowned by Miss Deaf Texas 2006-2007, Johanna Valenta.
Katherine was selected first runner-up in the Miss Deaf
America pageant in New Orleans July 8, 2008.
